Shown below are three example projects that we have undertaken. CNC PRESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF SEALS The brief for this machine was to produce P.T.F.E billets of varying size from powder. These billets are then machined into seals for the automotive industry. The machine was to run 24hrs a day, unmanned. The P.T.F.E powder is loaded automatically, and fed into the dies, it is then pressed from two axes up to 75 tonnes to form the product. The finished billet is ejected automatically down a part shute. The press is computer controlled, all speeds, pressures and movements are fully programmable by the operator. Gravity Die Casting Machine The design brief was to produce a machine that would open and close the two halves of a gravity die set. Then while the molten aluminium is being poured into the dies, the hydraulic rig tilts the whole die set through 90°. This helps to dispel any air in the mould, as the aluminuim is poured. Window Testing Rig A large quantity of these rigs have been manufactured to date, from small rigs such as these two, through to large rigs of 8m long x 4m high. Each rig designed to individual requirements. These rigs are designed for load testing of windows, doors and their hardware to British Standards. Some rigs also include computer controlled cycle testing, for life testing of window and door components.
